I'm looking to make my own fender delete because I work at a metal fab shop and I need a lunch project! I was wondering if any one had any good pictures of them from inside the trunk and under the tail just so I can get a good idea of how they are mounted and how they did the lock.

i took a angle grinder and did it the cheap way

 

Did you relocated the bolts for the tag or did you just cut it right below it.

I was looking for something along the lines of this But I don't want to use the stock turn signals!


I know this is a Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator Kit , but what I need to know is how they mounted it and if anything needs to be cut out to install it?

you will need to cut the fender like they have illistrated in the link i sent to you for the Hotbodies undertail...i had a homemadeundertail similar to that one before the H/B and i had to attatch it to the part of the fender/battery tray where the tool kit was kept...

 

this is along the same lines. I just raised mine up. drilled the upper left hole big enough for
my key. used led bolts for plate light and followed the led foot peg post in the how to. plus
integrated light.

Oh ok cool I thought that you were thinking that I wanted to make an undertail! Sorry! I see now.

Do you have some pictures of under the seat and maybe some of the outside with a flash the pictures seemed really dark so i couldn't tell what you actually had done.
