Bicycle cable lock to lock helmet
Good you asked this question, because it inspired me to help ... therefore I took pictures of my setup ...
What I ended up doing with my split-seat F4i was buy a simple bicycle cable lock at the supermarket, and locking the helmet by fishing the cable under the seat frame and then through the helmet visor opening.
Basically, if I can see my bike (eg. sitting in a cafe across the road), I will normally only hang the helmet using the underseat hook, so if some bugger tries to cut the strap and run with the helmet, at least I can see him (not that I can do anything if he's 7 foot and 250lbs!).
And I use the bicycle lock in addition to this if my bike cannot be seen while I'm away ....
The cable lock also curls up and stores away in the side of the compartment.
Easy ...

I dont have a manual so I cant look this up so ill see what yall suggest. Im looking for a way to lock my helmet up on my bike. I know the split seat bikes have a way to hook the rings under the seat but does the banana seat have this? I saw the write-up of how to make my own coated cable and I may go this route ifI can find a way to lock one end under the seat. Please give me some suggestions for holding/locking my helmet.
*This will just be for short trips into a store or during a class or two at college in decent a neighborhood where im not too worried about theft. Its just hard to carry my helmet around some places.*
