Hello,

Took the seat off my 2004 F4i and when I did the seat lock/latch mechanism fell apart! From the diagrams and posts I have researched, I [I]believe[I] I have all of the parts, but I cannot figure out where the small spring goes (see pics below). I have been trying to figure this out for a week now with no luck. I believe the spring is necessary as the lock will not function properly with the other remaining pieces (but I could be very wrong).

mine just broke too. he is a side view

 

It's all there put it back together, same thing just happened to my friends 06.
Looked at mine to see how it goes together and mine was loose.

 

Do either of you know where the little spring goes? Or does that piece not even below in the assembly?
