Thats stupid. My engine is all stock. I would just to raise it to maybe 15k, 15.5k. I changed the sprockets and now top out at about 145mph. So i figure rev limiter at about 15.5 would be around 155mph. I'm on meds because i just had surgery but this still sounds right.. I hardly ever top my bike out..which is why I went -1/+2 but when i hit the track or on my dead end road(No drive ways and no traffic.)I dont want to hit the rev limiter. would 16k still be safe or totally out of the question?
How can i move the rev limiter, or remove it? I can watch my rpms.

I'm quite sure he read your post dude...*sigh*
What you are not understanding is that in order to go any faster at that speed, you NEED MORE HORSEPOWER!
So moving the rev limiter will do you no good what-so-ever.. Read up on it, its calledAERODYNAMICS, DRAG and WIND RESISTANCE. You will needlessly strain your engine and possibly cause valve train damage. You'vebeen told. If you want a "screamer" buy the new R6 with fake 17,500 redline...

Are you an idiot? Let me say this one more time. I AM TOPPING OUT AT 145MPH BECAUSE OF MY GEAR CHANGE. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH HORSEPOWER GETTING TO 145 OR GOING FASTER THEN 145 BEFORE THE GEAR CHANGE. THESE BIKES HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH AERODYNAMICS AT 150MPH. IM NOT TALKING ABOUT DOING 170-180+.
There, is that better? My top speed went from about 155-160 to 145. I would like to put it back up to about 155-160 by NOT HITTING THE REV LIMITER AT 145MPH. I'm really not trying to be a jerk. My bike would do 150+ before the gear change. Just please, read what I'm asking and try to understand what I am saying.
It has no problem hitting redline. in fact when I hit redline its like hitting a wall because the bike is still pulling so hard. I dont need more power or different aerodynamics to do the stock speed the bike was meant to do. If my engine blows up and takes me with it..then I had a happy death
Can anyone please just tell me how to raise the limiter w/o telling me my bike wont go any faster then 145 with a raised limiter.

I think an adding test would be sufficient enough to sighn up 1+1 or someting, but what do i know... I think our bikes will hit 150-155 I know mine got to 163 whenever me and my bro in law were going at it with my girls RR he was slowly walking away from me, but now i got him with the full exhaust system..
and that 163 is with probally a speedo error...so im guessing 140 or so...
