i have same issue... red f1 light flashes and bike starts missing at 226+ i just got a fuel pressure regulator replaced... until the bike heats up the bike runs perfectly fine.

 

Just do a once over on your cooling system, make sure it is full and do you know if you have 50/50 water/coolent mix?I have seen ALOT of people with cars and bikes just put in pure "coolent". The "coolent"/antifreeze does not carry and transfer heat as well as water so make sure you get a 50/50 mix in there....It does not sound like much of a problem to me, but do a once over on your cooling sytem to make sure nothing obvious is wrong...
