not today but Saturday, took the fairings off and exhaust, going to swap motors,....

 

I looked at it, frowned, then walked outside into the 45 degree rainy weather to get into my car.
(but a few days ago I installed a gsxr 1000 voltage regulator)

 

Winterized it, after doing a rear signal eliminator

 

removed my exhaust and repainted it after a lil clean up. gonna be repairing/painting the fairings the rest of the weekend. hopefully be back together early next week.

 

Put cleaned carbs back on, installed quick disconnect between carbs & tank, put new(er) petcock on after the last one started leaking everywhere. Currently trying to figure out why 2-3-4 header are hotter than number 1's header.

 

sounds like an ARF rich issue, or a simple no fire

 

i just put new brake pads on. the rears were down to bare metal (they were likethat when i bought the bike)yikes. gonna be repairing cracked upper fairing from where it fell over on the trailer last week

 

Installed Manual CCT and Im off to give it a clean.

Also will inspect the chain, sproket and fluid levels.

went out fired it up and ran the **** out of it all day. lol gotta love over 70 and almost december>

 

Drilled out the rafters in my garage and put a 3 foot threaded rod threw them with huge hardware. Then took the fairings and tank off and I suspended the front of bike from the rod.

Gonna pull the front wheel, and forks. Rebuild forks, change wheel bearings, have new a new tire put on and then put it back to together with new pads and line as well.

Then I will do the rear tire, pads, and bearings.
