Default Vibration prob @ 5500 RPM and up. Throttle hand is numb and the clutch hand is fine.

1994 CBR 600 F2

I don't know if this is normal for these bikes but when driving for any lenght of time on this bike>15 min at highway speed, the vibration of the bike makes my right hand go numb. My left hand seems normal.
Should this bike be doing that? Bike has a D&D slip on pipe could that be causing it? It is really loud and I don't like it so much, it sounds cool wshen you get on it, but it does get old. Was thinking of going back to a used stock pipe.

Any ideas on what to look at?
Thanks
Patrick

My throttle hand gets numb too. Make sure that your bar end counter weight is tight. After market ones are lighter and don't damp out vibes very well. I went to some thicker hand grips to help with the problem. If your bike has not been rejetted for the aftermarket pipe, it could be running lean at the 5000+ rpm point. Make sure motor mounts are all tight too.
