Default Streetfighter headlight and tailight

So i swapped my normal pieces, well okay, actually i just ripped all the fairings off because they were crap and went with a streetfighter front end. Its one of those acrylis or w/e got it for 20 bucks so didn't really care however its really really dull at night. I want to know if i can swap out those itty bitty light bulbs because you can replace them, with brighter lights? also, after i did this, my tailight fuse keeps blowing, it will last for a day or so then randomly just blow regardless of what amp fuse i use.
Thanks in advanced

Those crappy acerbis street fighter headlight assemblies have plastic lenses and really small air spaces to fit the bulb inside of. I'm pretty sure even a 55/60W bulb will melt everything. Those things are pretty much only for making a bike appear street legal. My girlfriend's ninja 250 had one and it was absolute crap. I'd dump it and get something with an H4 bulb or some other bulb with at least 55W.
