Still can't figure this thing out
1993 F2. I pulled the carbs, gave them a thourough cleaning, all but the pilot screws as I do not have the tool. Got the cables to keep from sticking, made sure that the petcock was clean, checked the plugs, new fuel in the tank, everything is there. Put it all back together and nothin. I'm stuck. I would think that with the choke open full it sould at least try to fire based on some fuel getting in. I am lost. Can anyone help? I'm starting to feel like I won't have her on the road come the spring time.

Does it turn over but not fire? no? check battery
If it turns over, unscrew float screws for a second to verify fuel to ensure vacuum/petcock work.
You checked spark plugs? meaning what? Clean? brown? white? Verify spark visually? Are they in the correct firing order?
Check compression...
If all of that checks ok, you should get some signs of life.
