Run in time after changin valve shims
Hi Guys,
Sorry if this is on here already but I've searched and can't find this anywhere. I've recently done quite a bit of work over winter on my 93 F2 including changing some valve shims to correct the clearances for which this forum has been massively helpful. Any chance someone could let me know the ideal run in procedure after doing this? I've done about 120 miles since changing them but kept it below 5000RPM as per the normal break in procedure in the handbook up to now which is massively frustrating!
I've also rebuilt the forks and re-sprayed the bike, will post pics soon!

Yes, I only changed the shims. I just thought the valves may need time to seat properly again if the height / clearance have changed. One of my neighbours that's been riding much, much longer than me said to keep it at low revs for first 1000 miles so just thought I'd not take any chances!
