resealing Petcock

Default resealing Petcock

can I use this gasket maker to seal the petcock back up. Name:  DSC06124.jpg

i would assume so, thats high temp sealant and all your sealing is the petcock.

you shouldnt have to use sealer the diaphrams that are in the petcock should seal it. if you dont have the diaphrams in it then youle be sucking raw gas in through your number 1 cylinder via vacuum hose

hey dustin. Thats exactly what happened. When I bought my bike. both the petcock and the vacuum where plugged. so I decided maybe my bike is running weird cuz those caps are creating the right flow. SO i tried the vacuum to the petcock like it intended. BAMM cylinder gets flooded. So I took apart the petcock and there was no diaphrams or springs or anything. all there was is whats in that picture. So What the hell did this guy do. Is there some mod where people pull these off ?
