Default Plug - where should it go?

Hi Everyone,
I'm almost at the end of the restoration of my CBR 600 F2 having had it since 1997 (it was laid up for over 15 years) and now it's almost ready for starting. I am at the stage of connecting all of the electrics, however I have a plug from the engine harness that I can't seem to find where it is meant to plug into - please see picture below - thanks very much for your help;

Don't you just hate that when you end up with left over parts.

But this is an easy one. That's the thermostat sensor wire. It should be green with blue strip.
Goes on the back of the thermostat housing. Inside/behind the frame and opposite side of where the red hose in your picture is attached.

Thanks Phil314 - that was spot on.

I'd already put a connector from the engine wiring harness onto the temperature sender - and was left with this one over.

However, it turned out that the one in the picture is the temp guage wire but it wouldn't fit on the sender as the plug attachment was too small to fit. I've removed the silver connector on the plug and this now fits properly. The connector which was already on the temp sender was actually the neutral switch connector! Now all correctly the right way around and ready for starting - thanks a lot for your help.
