alright im hoping someone has pics of their airbox off and the airbox side of carbs showing with all hoses attatched. theres a big hose that goes to my airbox. but i have 2 smaller tees inbetween carbs 1 and 2 and carb 3 and 4. i have nothing attatched to these tees and i have a hesitation while steady on the throttle. i found a set of carbs on ebay but they are hooked up to some emissions thing. i dont think my bike is cali emissions so wondering if they are hooked to something or just left open with no hoses at all. please somebody help before i use the bike for a firestarter!! i like the bike and got it cheap but at a point where im out of ideas and dont know where to go from here

I think you are talking about the air vent pipes. Here's an old thread that might help you out...

I had the same question for my 1993 CBR1000F. I purchased it 2 weeks ago and was planning on a quick carb rebuild and then putting everything back together again. Well when I found a broken tip of as pilot screw jammed I bought other carbs and by the time I got the new carbs in and cleaned I forgot where those hoses ended up. Mine come out of the carbs and each wrap around the airbox and I can't see where the connect to anything....I need to look on the underside of the tank to check for connections. I would upload a pix but I can't seem too.
The bottom pictures shows my 1993 CBR1000F and my new 1987 CBR1000F that is nnext on my project list. ![Smile](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

nice bike! always wanted to try a hurricane 1000 lol. i have the 87 600 and its pretty fun for an old bike. its still my favorite. my 94 f2 isnt as comfy hahaha. the f2 has more power but the hurricane leans in the corners faster and the fun factor is a lil higher. think i found my problem!! im almost positive the guy put f3 carbs on my f2. so thats why ,y intake doesnt bolt up right.. and i noticed the vent tubes (thanks optimus prime) lol are white. all f3 carbs im seeing on ebay have white ones and the f2 carbs have black ones. i dont have the throttle position sensor but im thinking there must be a way to block it off or bypass it and thats what he did. Im hopin im on the right track because its gonna suck to spend almost 200 bucks for nothing
