I just finished this conversionon my2000 f4, from the bannana to the split seat for the 01-03 f4i, so i figured i would give my 2 cents. I bought a 01 f4i sub frame, that bolted on no problem. I also bought a 02 tail section, seats and under tray. However the undertray from the 2000 f4basically fit and if you are going to be buying an undertail I think you could make it work easily. The old passenger pegs DO NOT FIT, so you will have to buy those as well. With all the new stuff the conversion is very straight forward and not very much modification is needed.

Again here is what you need from an f4i:
subframe,
tail section,
passenger pegs,
seats,

undertail kit/
or under tray and rear tail light.

if you dont buy an undertail kit you will need a tail light and an undertray.... so buy the kit with the tail lights instailled.

find a painter, or spray it yourself.

I am very happy with the results.

 

oh and like blaze said, just make sure everything is from the year 01-03, and it should all fit together...
