lol haven't even started yet, its sitting in my uncles parents horse barn, i have all the parts and im going out there tomorrow

Default *Update*

so, i changed the oil, the stator, the oil pan and stator gasket, installed the manual cct, oo quiet, but theirs still a ticking in the top of the motor... Im working on this bike in a horse barn and well, kinda feel high so ima quit for today and take the valve cover off monday and see what i can find

When you say the cam chain rattle has gone away but there is now a new sound of metal hitting metal, you may have jumped a tooth on your cam chain when you revved it to the moon. If it did jump a tooth or more, it could be out of time. I would verify your valve timing and valve lash. But before anything, you could do a compression/ leakdown check on each cylinder to see if you bent any valves.

Usually it would be worse than what is in your video if the piston made contact with the valves, though.

^^ah checked the valves a couple weeks ago and everything was in acceptable range and nothing looked out of place. I think compression test is in order
