Recently I've noticed that my headlight would dim after about 10 minutes of riding. Thinking it was the bulb, i replaced it but I still had the issue. A new R/R and battery later, I don't have the dimming headlight anymore.

all was fine for about a month until now. What I have now is a headlight that turns COMPLETELY off when switching from low beam to high beam and back. But this only happens after about 25mintues of riding.

This wouldn't be an issue if I didn't ride at night down interstate 81...but i do. I first came across this issue when switching to high beam to alert a tractor trailer that he was in my lane. When I flicked the button, the headlight shut off completely for about 2 seconds then the high beam came on.

any ideas??
