Gas Leaking on my First Bike :(
Hey so i'm brand new to this forum and the bike world, I was hoping you guys could shed some wisdom..
I bought a 1991 CBR600F2 (44,000kms) last year and stored it for the winter. I put fuel stabil in it, did an oil change, took the battery out, and propped up the tires off the ground. The guy I bought it from seemed to know his bikes, and he was **** with all of his, which is why it's in pretty good condition.
Here's the fun part. I went to the garage yesterday to start it up for the first time this year and then get license plates later, but as soon as I turned on the gas, it just started pouring gasoline everywhere. It does start but it leaks gas all over the place as long as the gas valve is on.
I took off the gas tank to get a better look, it seems to be leaking from 2 places: 1) a small pipe on the bottom of the carbs (i think this is the overflow pipe?) and 2) the t-joint that supplies fuel to carbs 3 and 4 (possibly on carbs 1 and 2 as well but I couldnt really see that joint).
I've been reading a lot of threads and the problem doesnt seem too intense which is a huge relief. My question to you guys is, what do you think is wrong? I'm thinking either the o-rings went bad or maybe the float valves are stuck? Secondly, how do I fix it? I don't have a haynes/clymer manual so I'd rather take it to a mechanic that knows whats going on depending on how much you think its going to cost.
IDoDirt, I love your picture-posts so please feel free to add some input. Sorry for the long post.

Its maybe the floats, could be a bum needle as well. If you didnt do enough winter maint. for your f2, that could be the issue, gas was probably sitting in the carbs all winter, and caused this issue. This is an easy fix if you have some tools and time. There is a sticky in the tech section about carb cleaning with very detailed pics. Hope this helps.
