Fuel Filter?
I always recommend changing them every Spring, they are only $15 and easy install for a guaranteed ride. You would be surprised how much crap it picks up in the fuel line. I am glad to help.
Underground: Do you have a pic of the filter installed? I bought one, but it's a little big for that little space! I suppose you just took out the two 90 degree bends in the original fuel line and just ran yours diagonally?
Thanks,
Ryan

Actually I did the F23 conversion(F3 fuel pump and F3 wiring with F3 ECU), so I have fuel lines running everywhere under the seat. It will be Ok to just have the filter resting on the motor. It will not hurt anything.
Not a problem, I try to figure things out with peoples parts they have laying around. You will be very surprised how much crap a filter picks up in 12 months. Yes, used a dremel and cracked one open once. I do not recommend riding without one, very scary what you will find, even with only Premium gas(93).
I always recommend changing the fuel filter and spark plugs every spring before riding weather. But that is just my opinion.

The abuse I put my bike through and Love that 1/1000th of a second better response from fresh Iridium spark plugs. I change all fluids in Spring and Spark plugs with the fuel filter for the fresh bike feel. Any hesitation in my group of riders is not really optional. 6 months of sitting around the house and only dreaming of riding to be let down by a $6 spark plug, I am not going to chance it. Maybe it is me!
