It's the engine adjustment mounting bolt from what it sounds like.



See red circle. Number 22 on diagram.
You remove the outer nut, the long inner bolt, and the outer locking nut.
You will see the allen once the long inner through bolt is removed.
The allen bolt is wide and about 3-4 inches long. It pushes against a spacer between the frame and the engine, and is held in place by the through bolt and that allen bolt.

Doesn't make sense until you remove the through bolt.
I can take an actual picture later today of the bolt. Just don't feel like going to garage this early in the morning (for me).

Best idea is to remove it, take to hardware store and get a real bolt that matches the thread.

I've read this thread before but the description didn't make sense to me until recently, since I dropped the motor.
I had to pick up a large hex set to remove that bolt.
