I picked up an almost complete oem body/fairing kit, minus the upper fairing and windscreen which I got off ebay (china parts)
but my bike is missing almost all the grommets and hardware to mount the fairings
what the best solution for this?

 

Buy all the hardware you need with new wellnuts (those rubber and nut grommets). Simple.

 

best place to get them? I was thinking the dealer, a good place to get them online maybe?

 

The dealer can get the ones that are specific to your bike. There are aftermarket bolt kits out there that will have an assortment of sizes. The wellnuts may only be available from the dealer or a oem source.
