Lightbulb F4i swingarm swap and unkown subframe swap attempt

I am about to take the bike off the road and do some swapping to get ready for summer. I'm going to be going to a f4i swingarm to be able to get a little more tire out back and I'm also looking at swapping the subframe out (tired of the banana seat). Anyways I'm not sure which subframe to use yet and also would like input on anyone that has put a f4i swingarm on a f2. All replies are welcome so let me know!!!!!

Default swingarm

the swing arm swap I havent found too much on but there are plenty of guys who have done subframe swaps im looking into doing one on mine.
1)figure out what tail you want
2)buy subframe, seats, battery box, and tail light, and signals
Then just start measuring and cut carefully.

As for the swing arm let me know how you make out.

The project should be under way at the beginning of the month. I might go crazy and get a 02 or 03 gsxr tail section because it's kind of bulky like the f2. I'm still not sure yet. The swingarm is going to be a f4i part. I'll hopefully be able to put pics up and a parts list when I'm done. I was looking at the f4i gauge conversion and I like that too so I might go with that to while it's out of comission.

the late model gsxr swap is a good one!

thats an 05 tail that the previous owner mounted on mine... he had to do a bit of welding to make supports that lined up correctly, but it didn't seem too complicated.

looks 1000x better than the 1 piece seat

Thanks for the pic. I agree it looks 1000x better. The lines flow good together. Definately a step up. With the f4i swingarm on it and a little bit fatter tire it will be a food combo I think.. Keep the posts coming!!!!
