600 RR subframe swap
hey guys has anyone tried this? I know its welded on the stock f3 but i was curious if anyone has attempted it.. I dont mind being the first one if i have to be! I already did all the custom body work for an 05 R1 front end this is the last thing left that i wanna do..

I know it's been done, but I think the more popular way is to just cut, bend, and add brackets to the stock f3 subframe.
I had all the parts for a while to do this on my F3 and was thinking it's what I'd do before I decided I wouldn't have the bike long enough to do all that work.
If I were to do it, I'd be working on brackets just like you're talking about so that it's basically bolting up everything from the RR tail. Then it's just a matter of finding places for the battery, RR, shock canister, etc.

I sat and screwed around with bracket high for 2 hours before i finally decided on a height so that the tail wouldn't look stupid high...came out pretty good i think..of course i adapted instead of making a whole new subframe..of course it's still not an rr but it'll do for now till the warden gives me enough freedom over my money to buy a new one
