I believe the fuel is 3/8 fuel hose but not 100% as I only bought the bike a week ago. Not sure for the vacuum line.

Bring both lines into the store and just match them up.

Also, just to test the petcock, once u pull the tank and the lines suck on the vacuum line and gas should flow from the gas line. If it doesnt then u found the problem or if it ends up in ur mouth through the vacuum line u found ur problem.

If gas flows no problem then its likely not your petcock as the culprit and I would have to look back at the carbs. If its a gas issue its gotta be one or the other or the lines that connect them. Say the vacuum line has a tear in it and isnt creating vacuum properly thus no fuel flowing.

Did you drain the fuel bowls and see if there was fuel in there like suggested? Get some fresh clean gas and starter fluid as well.

I am currently at work but I was making a shopping list of sorts so when I go to get supplies I can do all the testing at once. I was thinking about getting a clear fuel line so I could see if the fuel was flowing or not. Just figured that could be a simple solution as well.

yea they are prone to fail like the r/r's are known to do. If that comes to being the case I have a some more parts to add to my list of part for sale lol.

You have to remember that the thin rubber diaphragms in the petcocks are 15-20 years old at this point. I'd hardly call that prone to failure. I'd actually call it very impressive.

Would you trust a 15 year old condom?

i plug the ICM connector and then i pressed every wire, in my case the positive dont touch the ICM terminal, but when i pressed go in there and make the good connection.

But i think you have another problem, did you tried the idle cable to half position?, did you set at 2 1/2 turns the pilot screw?, check you don't have any air leak in the carbs.

alright this is what I have tried since getting home. I took the tank off and tried the hanging gas can method, with starting fluid in the carbs. And I changed both hoses. she turned over backfired and died. then I tried starting her again and she idle for a second and died. At this point I figure the petcock took a dump on me. then for kicks I hook the tank back up and she fired off again, for a few seconds she idled then died. the battery died on me so I am letting it charge. so hopefully when it done I will have the throttle assembly back together, and can give her some gas. btw I don't have a choke. Any advice?

Maybe I missed it in all of this, but did you tell us whether or not gas came out when you attempted to drain the bowls? That's a huge clue.
