Default Compatable swing arms for an F2 '91

Either I bent the swing arm(is it bar or arm?) unintentionally by tightening down the rear wheel without have the rear caliper spacer in or it was done before I got it. I don't know.

Was looking around for a new swing arm and am not sure what a good price for one would be or what swing arms from other models would be compatible(just to perhaps broaden my search options).

I found this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=170379428339
For 50 bucks + shipping. Seems to be about as cheap as I can find it.

If you guys know where I could a better deal cost wise or quality wise please let me know!

Thanks.

I'm almost positive that the swingarm is pre-bent from the factory and that there's nothing wrong with yours...

But, if yours is hooped I have one I could sell... I was thinking $50+shipping

Even if you did bend it a little by tightening the axle down without the caliper bracket/spacer, you will be fine to pull it back into place.

It's steel, it's ductile.

Well I tried a couple different ways to bend it back but without success. I just can't seem to think of a way to keep the bike still enough. Right now I have it on some cinderblocks and 4x4s.

I clamped two 2x4s to the sides of the bar and tried bending it back, but couldn't even with a couple friends couldn't keep the bike still enough. I was thinking of just tipping the bike on it's side (to the left) and then slowing tugging the 2x4s up to bend it back. That way the bike isn't going anywhere and I'll have plenty of weight to get the arm back to normal.

Also tried my little brothers idea witch was a complete failure. He put a car jack on the bend and then tied ropes to the end of the bar and the frame and then jacked the jack up but the cord kept stretching.

I really don't want to buy a swing arm, I could use that money to reseal the front shocks or buy candy. So I'll leave my thinking cap on overnight and keep trying.

I wouldn't, ever bend an aluminum antenna and then try and bend it back? Look back on that and think if you want to do that to your bike.

The swingarm is steel, not aluminum.

Looking at your new pictures though, I would say that it is fubar and you should buy a swingarm. For under $100 you have the piece of mind knowing that you're riding safe.

First off: Don't ****nig bend it back! That's just asking for trouble, don't do that ****! Your mom would be pissed!

Now, don't take this advice and use it on that swing arm... but if you're trying to bend metal, heat it first.

lol. Right before I checked back here I was talking to my grandpa and briefly mentioned it and he straight up "forbade" me from riding the bike until I put a new/used swing arm on. First time he has every "forbade" me from doing anything. =/
