A spark plug socket with the little rubber thingy in the end to hold the spark plug in the socket. Or the spark plug wrench that came in the tool kit with the bike. You cant reach down in there with your fingers and pull them out there just aint no room, thats why you need a spark plug socket or equivalent. Plus you need to put the new plugs in the socket and gently lower them in there so you dont smash the gap smaller then what it should be. Plus a little dab of antiseize on the spark plug threads, very little. Plus you need to start the new plugs in with fingers so you dont cross thread. Aluminum heads aluminum threads, Be Careful. Cross threaded plug threads is a big pain in the ***.

Yeah, I use the Honda spark plug socket along with a 1/4" ratchet and the proper size socket that fits on the end of the plug tool. Takes no time at all to do the plugs, even going through the access covers.

Get a few UV joints for your 3/8" drive sockets and use that to get the damn thing in through all of that awkwardness. Get the initial threads done right by hand, and then go go gadget tighten them up!

As said, start the plugs by hand. Turn them in to snug, put on the driver and give an additional 1/4 turn, no more. Buy a plug-gap guage and check the new plugs, adjust
if nessacary. Be careful pulling the plug-wire off the sparkplug, as well.

It's tight working room, just take your time and don't force anything.
Good luck, Ern
