Changing the grips? HELP NEEDED ASAP!
I bought some grips and the guide said they fit "1993 Honda CBR 600F2". I was worried because they are slip-on. The left side was tough to get off, but finally got it. I'm worried about the throttle side, as it seems to be possibly tied into the throttle casing? I don't want to go trying to pull it off if I could damage the throttle cable/casing. But if the right side is also a slip-on it'll be no problem. Below are the photos of everything.

That's what I did. Just used a razor blade and cut easy till its all the way through. Then just use some dish soap and water in a cup and dip the new grips in there and they slide right on. Just let it dry fully before riding.
I've got a feeling those gold aluminium grips that are on your bike already have the throttle tube built into the grip. You'll probably have to open up the switch casing to disconnect the throttle cables to be able to remove the grip. Then you'll have to get a new stock throttle tube to have something to put your new grip onto.
No experience with those aluminium grips but that's my best guess.

Looking at the center pic with the grip off you can see two small diameter circles and a drag mark in a somewhat sine wave pattern. Your grip appears to be attached using a small diameter set screw. Loosen the set screw and your grip should come off fairly easy. My guess is the throttle grip has it located on the underside.
Hey RedBull... I'm curious how this turned out...
Did you get your throttle grip off?
If so, what was the secret?
Did you get your new grips installed?
If so, where are the pictures???

Hey, I actually kept the old ones on it. The left grip was pretty beat up since I had to use a hammer to get it off, so I grinded it and wrapped both of them in electrical tape with a few yellow stripes. I also took the spike tips off and painted them black. They look much better and match the bike. The bronze color didn't go at all...
Here's the outcome.

Instead of electrical tape which will get sticky with heat and time, try using some tennis racket grip tape or bicycle handle bar tape. Good selection of colors, thin or thick, gel or not. I've gotten about 9K miles on my current wrap and they're just starting to show some wear. The grip is good in wet or dry.
