Excellent, I suspected a firing order problem, but couldn't explain the details as well as the other guys did.

 

You are sure that this is the correct order?



The Honda Service Manual seems to suggest it is 1-4-2-3
or am I looking at the diagram wrong?

Firing order is different than coil layout. The waste spark system fires 1 and 4 at the same time, then 2 and 3, even though the complement cylinder is not on compression stroke.

 

Ahh I see.

I misread his message.

After I read it again, I can see that he wrote "plugs 1 & 4 are run off the right side coil, plugs 2 & 3 are off the left side coil". Which goes along with the coil layout diagram.

I session it not running, I am attempting to make it run. Not quite certain where to begin. Plug wires 1 and three was crossed. Appeared as though I'm not getting any fuel in the carbs. Not quite certain. I requested a pitcock and going to change the fittings. Some other ideas
