can't get my stator cover back on
How easy it the stator supposed to slip on? Besides the magnet making it near impossible to line up without problem.... 03 954rr
And does anyone know how tight to torque the 5 bolts inside the stator after replacing it? (4 for cable and 1 to hold cord down) or is hand tight good enough?

I just hand tightened then.
+1 on the stator cover being a pain in the a** to get back on. I couldn't get it all to line up so what I did was I slid out the starter got the cover mounted and pushed it back in. Worked good for me

It shouldn't be that hard mate. At most 5 minutes. I even replaced mine in a parking lot just line up the guide pins and use some force. It's going to be a pita because it's such a strong magnet but you gotta man handle the thing
