Not to scare you but reading through your thread, the compression figures you give im suprized you can get that motor to fire at all. anyhow, your disription of hard cold starting and easier warm starting sugests ur rings are toast. Your copression fiures will almost certainly rise as the temps do making it easier for the engine to run(the reason it will lite up after it is warm). I wouldnt rule out a possible electrical prob as gpfan is tryin to help you with, but try his oil suggestion and get back to us.
