from cali to 48 state...
hello all,
I hope everyone is staying safe and dry from Irma...
ok...I've got a f2 cali bike that i'm putting together from the previous owner wrecking it. Going streetfighter! I had to replace the head with a 49state version which wasnt a concern since the bike was already missing the can and some other odds and ends. So... it runs ok, but is missing power and it feels like its uneven power delivery throughout the range. I checked all over the forum and cant find any help with what to block or leave open on the cali carbs.
It has factory 38s pilots, 132 mains, factory needles, K&N air filter with Two Brothers slip-on. Thats how it came to me...preiously it was dying after a hard acceleration as if it was starving for gas. But when I filled up with premium it hasnt died since. Does that sound like a lean issue? Sorry for the long posting, Ive been trying to get this together for a few years on and off and on a low cost budget...Compression is like new and CCT is manual.
