broken gas cap key...

Default broken gas cap key...

I broke my fricking gas cap key after a fill up the other day...what are my options?...

damn, i fear this everytime I go to fill up. my key has a big score mark on it where it could break off, i should get a replacement :-(

Remove gas cap, take to any decent locksmith who will make you a new key for a couple of buck. I'd have two made and keep one somewhere safe.

how do I remove it?...I took the Allen head bolts out but don't know where to go from there...

Your gonna have to unlock the cap to release it from the tank. Try using the stubb on your key ring to twist the part that is stuck. Undo the allen screws (only three actually hold it on) should pop loose...
