Default All Broken In

So i finally broke in my 07. Did the service myself on it this weekend and took it to work this morning. After being stuck below 7000 during break in, I couldnt wait to see how the thing did at 8000 and above. What a great bike. I have owned an F4i (smokin Joe) and a 954. I thnk this bike is funner than both. Granted the 954 had some more power which is why i was hesitant to step back down to a 600 when i purchased this one. However, this is not a normal 599cc bike. I just love this think.

I agree with knightslugger!! Just take it easy a little bit longer. I know the anticipation to go crazy and see what the bike really can do is there. But patience is a virtue that you must have.

all honda says about break in is to be careful for the first 300 miles and avoid hard starts or rapid acell

I broke it in properly for the first 350 miles. Changed the oil and continued to take it easy for another 250 miles. Changed the oil again and now I finally get to run it. The bike was treated well aqnd will continue to be treated well but now I can finally go above 70mph on the highway. Plus, the bike shifts so much cleaner and smotther when you wind her out a bit. Just excited, its been a long time coming.

the "oil" that in the bike from the factory is not your normal GN4, but rather a mix of GN4 and special break in fluid to assist in proper engine break in.

you should have left in in the engine for longer ctskydive...
