Bike got stolen and the meth heads stripped it for parts. Missing carbs, radiator, valve cover gasket and more. As far as the carbs go, are there any cheaper alternatives I can swap in there just go get her going in the meantime? I eventually plan to get her back to what she was, but can’t dish out 250 on carbs atm. I thought I read somewhere that similar year Yamaha YZF600 carbs will work? Anyone have. My experience with carb swaps from other bikes?

 

No insurance on your bike? Comprehensive or Comp would cover things like that. Being stolen, and damage not caused by a collision. Deductibles are usually lower than for Collision. Check ebay and don't be shy on making an offer. You never know how it will go.

 

I wonder if you might make video in the future which outlines the various enhancements available for a standard 998 mini engine?
