faulty, engine sounds like a can of nails shaking. Install, remove 2 10mm bolts, put new cct with new gasket, reinstall 10mm bolts with the cct all the way out, turn on motor, turn cct clockwise until engine stfu's. back out cct 1/4 of a turn. Done... pay me now

Actually back it out 2/3rds of a turn if you want to do it right? Now pay me! Plus I live in Indy, right down the road from you. Bring it, we have a full shop and every tool you need to fix anything.

Matters what year. I went through APE's website and as my bike is a 94 i was advised to re-use stock gasket. there would have been an additional 3$ charge if gasket was needed. I believe it was for f3's and f4i's. HT600 uses Honda OEM gasket. I may pick one up in case my current one is bad.
