Ok this will be my second time at the track. I have an 02 f4i. First time was bone stock, just lowered 1.5 inches front and rear. I was running 12.2 at 119mph. I know kinda sucks but I was learning how to launch and beating a 1000rr that was running 12.8's but he was just learning too. Still fun to say I beat a 1000. lol (yes i know with equal ridders, the 100rr would walk all over the f4i)

I'm still lowered 1.5 inches front and rear, but this time, front will be straped, have the two brothers shorty slip on, powercommander with the map for the two brothers, 20hp dry nitrous shot (yes the fuel map for 100% throttle from 9k-redline has been uped 8% to account for it), and -1 front sproket, and have been practicing launching alittle with the strap (well the best u can on empty stretches of road at 3am)

So what you guys think she will run? Im still a beginner (only been down the track like 4 times lol) Id like to see mid-low 11's.

Also there is this cocky sob with an 05 zx6r that thinks he can beat any 600 out there and pulls 1000's all the time. We got him to go to the track on next wednesday with us, he's never been, his bike is stock except for this no name shorty pipe he got off ebay. Now I know stock for stock, his bike would waste mine. Those zx6's seem pretty quick. Ya think my small modifications and small experiance over him will lead me to victory next wednesday?

Im not looking for like exact answers here, (odvisly that would be impossible, lol) just your opinouns based on the info ive givin you, Ill be sure to post the results when we get back.

 

well i have a 01 f4i and it was my first time at the track this weekend and i ran 11.26 at 125.50 all i have is K&N, RS3 slip on, barnetts clutch, PC3, and -1 on front sprocket. i can post a video soon the front would not stay down kinda sucked!

edit: my friend on his 05 636 ran a 10.69 and thats his best of the day

 

You should be mid to high 10's I would guess. With the Nitrous you should waste new RR's and i'm running 10.8's with only a 1.8 60 foot. Good luck, keep us posted!

 

Well the guy with the 636 isnt going today, the guy who has the trailer we use isnt going today. Its about an hour away, I could ride but I havent tested the nitrous and the sproket is throwing my speedo off because I dont have a speedo healer yet, also there is this weird ticking noise (like a lifter noise) on startup when its cool and it makes this weird moan out of the exhaust when u shut it off. I am fimilar with the CCT and no that is not it. Only other thing I did besides install the nitrous is did the clean air mod. I know it does change the pressure in the crankcase, maybe thats what the moan/low drone sound that comes from the pipe for a second is from, the pressure is equalizing again. I did the clean air mod because people say it gives u a tad more low end power and I was worried about nitous flowing into the crankcase. anyhow, ill post a question about the noise in another section.
