How to launch at the track???????????
OK, first day on a actual track and for the life of me I could not get a good launch. I tried a 5k slow clutch release, 2k drop and go, and even a 5k clutch drop... (NOT A SMART CALL..lol) They all resulted in a pretty crappy hole shot. I am looking for some tips. Thanks in advance...
Oh yea.. its an 01' 600.

On my 98 f3 I would launch at 8000-9000 and just feather the clutch. You will get more comfortable with more seat time.Dumping the clutch isn't going to work for the 600's it doesn't have enough horsepower once it boggs down.
Feather the clutch and roll intothe throttleas the clutch catches up to the motor...after that just bang out the gears.
Try and find where the peak torque is on your bike and pretty much start from there.
Dumping the clutch does not win races.

Bike is not stretched. I want to keep it short for cornering. At least it seems like having it stretched would throw off the cornering geometry, I could be wrong about that tho. I definately like the stretched look, but is it worth the cost???
has anyone used these?

Well I have mine stretched. Its worth to stretch your bike you'll pick up atleast a tenth maybe more. You might want to think about getting a front end strap. You can get them cheap at schnitzracing.com.It's well worth the money.
