No, not bad at all. Important thing is to have fun and not overdo it first few times. Getting a good 60ft takes alot of practice.

Yeah I figure with a new tire that actually grips I should be able to shave .5 off that. on that run I spun the first 20-40 ft it was alil scary but I got over it I also just got the bike yesterday so trying to get familiar with it, traded it straight up for my beat to **** zx9 and the cbr is clean as all get out.

Yeah, sticky tires help. If you think it's bad, try with a stretched swingarm...they really love to spin then. Is it still stock gearing? 600s are hard to launch (no torque). Working on riding skills is the best cause it doesn't cost you any money. I'm still getting used to XX motor I put in my 9. It's already nearly as quick as my built 900 motor with spray. Above all, just have fun.
