Quick noob question .. is it ok to run 110 octane through a completely stock RR?. Will it hurt to drive that on the street for 1 tank?

You could, but why would you? cost too much and you wouldn't really see that much gain. You would be better off lowering the bike and practicing your launch.

good job on the track time man! glad to hear other people are takin it to the strip...practice that launch you'll see big improvements in your performance once you get that down. At the strip, the key is to get a great launch every time.

follow clutchburning's lead and leave regular pump gas in the tank you're better off going with manufacturers recommendations... dropping it is a great way to lose ticks too

Thanks for the advice guys .. I was only asking about the gas octane because I was low on gas and didn't stop by any gas station before the track... so I filled her half way up with 110 just to keep the front down more and to get home ..lol. 7.94 @ 99.40mph was mybest for the night lastnight. I'm having trouble with bogging down. Maybe not enough revs at lauch ..or not keeping on the throttle enough??

Whats the best way to launch guys? .. I'm running a consistent 2.1 - 2.3's in my 60foots[&:]. I really want to get down in the 1.7s-8s. I know more seat time will help but what are the proper techniques in launching. Should I be dropping the clutch, letting it out slowly ... I really bogging down.

I'm keeping the clutch right at catch point b4 launching it.

P.s. First time to the track with all the mods this Friday! .. can't wait to see how she'll do!!

Sooo the track was 53 degrees and I couldn't hookup to well off the launch and I had trouble keeping the front end down around 10k-12k. My best for lastnight with the mods. was 7.9x at 101.47 with a 60foot of 2.4x.
