First time to the track
Hey guys im going to the track for the first time ever. I'm taking my completely stock '07 CBR600RR to the 1/8th. Any suggestions that would help a new racer? Like should I drop my air pressure? What should rpm should I drop and feather the clutch outta the hole? Any safety suggestions aswell? Thanks guys! .. I'll report the time slips tonite!
7.98 at 98.12mph was my best run of the night.
Someone showed up with the same bike and ran a 7.38 at 99.43mph ...
I have a lot of practice to do on my launching [:@]..lol

Oh I can wait!! It's killing me that I'm 5 hours from the nearest 1/4 track ...but when I'm back at home from college I'm only 1 and half hours
. Yep that exactly the times I anticipate when I hit the 1/4. Roughly 11.2-11.5 ... 119 - 124. .. hoping that maybe with enough practice in the 1/8th Ill learn to lauch the bike and will get her down in the high 10s. ... Then i'll retire ...haha

Had the ol'ladys bike at RRR last sunday bracket racing. had a soft 1.70 60ft 6.83 1/8th @ 105.34 and 10.62 @127.92 in the 1/4. its just lowered 1inch in the back. I went thru the traps in the top of fourth gear right at redline, prob. could have pushed it into the .50's if i would have shifted into fifth gear. waz bracket racing so i kept it there all day, ran 10.70s in the heat like clockwork, made it into the finals against my buddy that rode to the track with me only to red light against him.. duhhh
