most people on the road are idiots. my dads a truck driver and i used to tag along.. we have seen just about everything. one day in Chicago were on 290 goin back to schaumburg, and its heavy traffic. and 2 guys on bike are weaving traffic doin probably 80-100mph. the guy following passes the truck trys goin to the far right lane but... theres cars. he nailed the brakes almost layed his bike down and got run over, but whats he do? finds the hole and goes for it. so its not always people in the cars/trucks and ect.. some dude n bikes are just plain idiots. There is a time to do your racing and dumb shyt on the road but make sure theres not 1000000000 people around...

 

Getting back to the 'just having fun' simple stories, on my way home from the gym the other night there was a kid in a camaro next to me for a couple of lights, just taking off normally. Then we take off from a light and all of a sudden he hits it so i hit it, totally kicked his a$$ but then had to turn to make my street so it didn't last long, but was fun!

 

I never race cars on my bike id rather save my gas for the twisties, i would have to hear some serious turbo spool or supercharger whine next to me to spark my interest to race a car.

 

Seriously, come on man....3500lb vehicle Vs a few hundred lbs Motorcycle is not in the same category. Especially doing 90mph+. I've encounter similar scenario with a teenage driver trying to race me with his vehicle. Best thing to do is let them pass and avoid them. For all I care is that dude may just found out his gf was cheating on him with a guy on a motorcycle....don't give them any chance to scapegoat on you. Be smart, don't start! Back away, ride another day.

 

when i had my vfr i was at a light and has a camaro pull up next to me. He revved a couple times and i gave in and took off from the light and i look in my mirror and see him sitting there then launch his car and he caught up with me and passed me like iw as almost standing still. Since then i only pic on smaller cars and the occasional vette lol.

Wow. Lot of crazy stories! I haven't had any that crazy on my bike. Had a crazed out guy about my age try to chase me down in my camaro all bc I went around him while he was trying to turn in to an autozone! He tried chasing me down, got on my bumper and ran me into the turning lane. This was all in the middle of town and I couldn't find a cop to save my life so I finally said screw it and dropped it in first and sped off. Took a couple side streets and finally lost the MF'er! I was 20 at the time and I was honestly scared. The other guy was in like an older Lincoln or something. Never mess with some one who is ready to go full retard! On another note I'm a little bigger then I was then, but my new pair of gloves WILL have carbon fiber knuckles. Not to mention having a helmet to swing in case I need it, it will get used!

VFR?? You could of at least said a RC211V or something COOL but a VFR???? Seriously?? I wouldn't even OPERATE a VFR much less want to ride female on one..... nice try though.
