Raced one of these on my 929. I'm geared down 2 teeth in the rear sprocket and one up on the front by the previous ownerbecause the bike scared him. This car nearly beat me, can't believe I've never heard of them before now. I thought he was just another cager.

 

VR4 galant wow. was that in the states? I've never come across one before. twin turbo, all wheel drive. I think i puts out just under 300hp stock, seems the one you ran into had quite a bit more. I've only seen the 3000gt vr4s here.

 

Galant VR4 is only a single turbo. Same engine set up as the 1generation Eclipse and was either 205 or 210hp.

 

The galant vr4 is modded by most owners. Theres a ton of aftermarket performance parts and is easy to get over 500hp but it is stock with a single turbo and around 195hp so scott is very much right. But it is all wheel drive and all wheel steering, a really neat vehicle. I would still ratherhave an 01 regal gs and mod that haha

 

Im a big fan of 3000gt's also, but i am more of an american car person haha

 

There was a twin turbo galant, don't know where they sold them. Think euro. But not here.
