7 flat is hauling on stock length, geared 54. I rode a buddy's before he stretched it. After one of it's headshakes in shutdown area, that was enough for me. I'll stick with my 12" stretch LOL

I strapped 20lbs of weight to front axle back when i was spraying my 945 motor. It headshook like crazy (the weights immediately came off). For some reason that motor went nuts on spray. Best time of 5.89 at 124 on a 60 shot. That was just a 1.50 short time. I think I can beat that with my bone stock XX motor and it's smooth as silk. You ever come up north? Maybe to Steele? Go to Alabamainternationaldragway.com It's in the middle of nowhere but is a good, sticky track.

so we had a good time fri night i ran a 6.89 on the 54 PB in the 1/8 for me.
the track had a pinks style run that night negotiate for lenths ect for a mock pink slip
my buddy won the whole thing on a 08 r-1. he gave up 10 bike lenths and a hit to a pontiac g-8 and won by 2 for 100 cash and some dyno runs

Cool!! Most tracks won't let cars and bikes run together.

I just took basket out of my bird motor. Springs were rattling pretty good, no wonder it was jerking when trying to leave hard. I'm surprised I was able to get a 1.48 out of it. I'm dropping it off at a friend's house today to get it shimmed. Hopefully I'm gonna get to race it this weekend. Having a big race in Huntsville.

it was kinda weird the cars didnt want to run him but in the end they didnt have a choice or they would have forfited the race. cool of the track to do it like that.

Watching cars is boring as hell. Especially if they are bracket racing. I do like watching the 10.5 Outlaw cars..They are bad!!! George probably has several at MMP. If you've never watched them, you should. Their organization is ORSCA.

He's going to part it just because of tranny trouble?
