Default Polishing Swingarm

If I Have A Aluminum Finish Swingarm ... What Do I Need To Polish It? What Steps Do I Take To Get The Best Mirror Shine Like Chrome Finish?

I Bought A Bike That Has A Polished Frame And Swingarm And Some Parts Where Left Alloy Aluminum Finish And For Winter I Wanna Strip It All Down And Do The Rest.

Thanks.

Ok I talked to one of my Tech guys. He said you can polish the swingarm by using Wet sand paper starting with 600gr graduating to 800gr, then 1000gr, and then finally 1500gr. Once at 1500 gr you should be able to polish with Mothers aluminum polish. I've seen his swingarm and it's almost as miror as it can get for aluminum. I've heard that you can use steel wool, but I was told wet sand paper is best. Anyone else feel free to chime in.

P.S. This is easiest when the swingarm is off the bike, but can be done while it is installed.

Ok ... Thanks ... And I Hear That You Should Sand With The "Grain" Of The Metal So That You Don't Get Swirl Marks ... Ive Heard People Start With 250 GR Sand Paper ... Thanks Tho ... I'll Keep Researching It And Let You Know More If I Find Anything Out.
