What is the best way to clean a flat black helmet??? I don't want to mess it up, just bought it...

 

Outside: Water and towel.. its not too hard. Unless you let bugs and birdpoop sit on it for weeks.

Inside: Shampoo your hair and plop the helmet on in the shower. Rinse and repeat.

















Thats how I do it.

 

I have some stuff I purchase here in Maine that can clean practically anything. Its called Incredible Pink. I put a dab on a paper towel with some water and it creates a soapy effect and then all the bugs and stuff come off.

I would try some vinegar. I use it around the house and its natural and cleans everything too.
Work great on shield because of the chemicals they DON'T put in it.
