Yeah, the pledge I use is for wood. I spray it onto a microfiber cloth, wipe it on, and then go back over it with a dry microfiber cloth. I use it on everything, black plastic, anything painted, chrome, ect. Bam! Supershine!

k...so use my wood pledge on my bike paint?....next time I am detailing I will give it a try. I am a bit sceptical but its always nice to try a new product.

I assume putting it on the seat would make is slippery tho...probably a bad idea there.

No it doesnt make it slippery. I do it, never had a problem with it feeling slippery. Makes the seat look brand new. I use 2 microfiber cloths, spray in on one and wipe dry with the other. You'll be impressed.

I use McGuire's Quick Detailer, it works great too. I've heard of others using Pledge and liking it!!

I just got my lexus repainted and the guy who did it told me that pledge can be used as a substitute for wax. He's pretty legit too, been painting and doing body work his whole life (limos were his specialty), and he has his own shop.

Pledge is probably the worst thing you can put on your paint. It may look good but over time you will get a build up. That will be very hard to get off without damage. How do I know??? I own a commercial cleaning service of 18 years. The product is produced right here where I live in the City of Racine,Wisconsin. I use the product but from time to time we have to strip it from furniture to start over. It does build up in time.
