Hey guys,

I'm rebuilding a 87 Hurricane and my head is too worn to rebuild, which has really put me in a bind. Buying a used head from a parts breaker seems too risky to attempt. I don't want to spend $400-$500 on a part only to find i either need to spend $1000 rebuilding it or it worse than the one i have already.

Does anybody have a Cylinder head from a good running engine to sell, or a running low miles engine from a compatible model year? It think 87 to 91 should be pretty safe. Although if it's non87, i'd like to get the carbs as well.

Do you need the California head with the pollution controls or the head from the other 49 states? I have an extra California head from a 1988 that should work on a 1987.

 

i have all parts from a 92 which i could dismantle, but i think postage would be a killer
where you from?

Stillin, how much do you want for the head, and what sort of condition is it in? Does it need to be rebuilt?

 

I bought it on ebay for $100.00. It looks good. I bought it but needed the non-California one. I'll sell it for the $100.00 I paid for it plus shipping. PM me and I'll send some pictures and we can work out the details. I am in NJ.
