Trying to revive the cane after it's been sitting for a year with gas in it. Difficult task. Anyone has an idea on what to do?

Also, need fairings such as inner cowl, side body, etc. The only good fairing on this bike is the tail and head lights cowl so anything else I need.

Noticing rust on the exhaust pipe. Is it better to sand the rust off or replace them? If replace them, where do I find parts for it and is there a how to section to do this task?

I'll need to move it from NY to TX, finding several shipping companies from $700 to $900. Wondering if with all the work that needs if it even worth the while or keep saving for a newer one? Thoughts?
