UK Sale of my 89 CBR1000F
Well guys, you've seen the build thread of my resto. I am selling my clean 89 CBR. I have spent £1180 on it plus I got a set of Oxford Commuter Hot Grips for it recently so it owes me over £1200. The **** fork seals from Wemoto are weeping slightly but not to the extent of it running down the forks so they could do with replacement.
The bike is clean and rides nicely and other than a few small hairline cracks in the lower fairings (one from the mounting bolt near the joint with the nose cone not he right hand side and the other where a crack has developed on the left hand lower fairing near the tank on the curve.
Other than that it is a very presentable bike. I am looking for £1350 for it and I am not fussy taking any offers on it but may consider a close offer if someone is seriously considering buying it.
I still haven't fitted the new rad switch I bought for it but I will obviously include it in the sale. I have also purchased a full lock set including 2 x keys for it as the steering lock is stuck in the unlocked position. (Neither of which have I accounted for in the build price above)
These are the only faults in an otherwise very nice bike. It is MOT'd until sometime around September / October and is showing 64700 odd miles which will continue to rise as I am still using it.
If anyone is interested please drop me a line here and I will furnish you with my phone number and we'll have a chat about it. I am not out to make a killing on it or catch anyone and feel the price is fair where others are asking upwards of £1600-£2500.
I am only selling to fund the completion of my new garage, when I will then find another project.
If you wish to see the build thread it can be found here.

Thanks for looking

Since these pics were taken it has had used bar ends fitted and a pair of hot grips.
