Good deal but I'd never fit them because the standard braking on a 1000F rear brake is too sharp as it us - braided on the rear would be dangerous IMHO

I'm generally a front brake first, then the rear for total stopping power type of rider but rubber lines do get spongy in time.

This would be cheaper than OEM or other braided replacements I've seen and Russell is a brand to be trusted for quality

I have HEL lines all round on my 89 Pete and didn't experience a whole heap of difference in the rear mate. I did in the front though. Before I put them on the brake fluid had the consistency of snot and there was no feel at all. New fluid with the braided lines have smartened it up though and give it as good a feel as 23 year old brakes can have given the technology of the day. She doesn't have the brakes of the Blackbird but I ride her knowing the limitations of the brakes.

FWIW I recommend them all around.
