Default I need a motor.. Texas!

I have a 95 CBR 1000F that the cam chain has stretched enough where she never gets quiet, so its time for a rebuild. Since I'm in the process of building a garage I have no place to rebuild her, so I would like to snag a good running motor. I would prefer a motor in the 30,000 mile mark or less, but as long as its a strong motor I could live with a little more. I just don't wanna let her sit until I get a chance to rebuild the motor, I'd rather keep on riding her until I get the motor done! Make sense??? Let me know... Thanks!

A camchain will take you about 5 hours which is a helluva lot less trouble than replacing the motor. (and a lot cheaper)You don't need a garage to do it either...... If you need a brand new DID camchain with a masterlink, I have one for $75. There are plenty of us who have done it, and we aren't mechanics.
Think about it...................................

I think a '91 motor will work actually...

Shadow, I know I could replace just the cam chain itself, but I figured that since I have to take the motor down to that extent it would be wise to replace the main bearings, con-rod bearings, and the valve guides were leaking causing a bit of smoking. (It does have 64,000 miles) With the leaking valve guides replaced, new cam chain and bearings my bike should be good for another 70k miles. That's the whole point! If I could find a 2nd motor I would rebuild this one at my leisure. It has proven difficult to find a good running motor. I'm about to take the motor down and see how things are looking. If things are ok I still may do my minor rebuild. But my motor is running and the best it has ever run since I have owned it I might add. Running strong! Starting on the first pop, and idles like a baby. Don't like the smoking, and the constant rattling from the tensioner. Sad that such a good running bike sounds so horribly.

Any help would be appreciated!! I would like a motor to use while I rebuild mine, but if not I will have to make the plunge. (I already have a list of parts I need and prices.. SCARY!!)
